12 May We need you at LA City Hall – tomorrow!
The Los Angeles City Council Budget and Finance Committee is meeting tomorrow – May 13th – to vote on whether or not the full City Council will get to vote to preserve the 40-acre G2 Parcel for Angelenos. We need you to come to City Hall to make your voice heard at 12:30 PM tomorrow!
Join FoLAR at LA City Hall in the John Ferraro Council Chamber – Room 340 200 North Spring Street Los Angeles, CA 90012 and stand up for the G2 Parcel!
Mayor Garcetti calls the G2 Parcel a “crown jewel in our plans to restore the Los Angeles River” and called for $60 million in his proposed 2016-17 budget for the purchase and remediation of the parcel. We must act now to ensure that the G2 Parcel is purchased by the City for the people.
Go to FoLAR.org/action and call on the City Council to say YES to the G2 Parcel
Stand with Friends of the Los Angeles River to make your voice heard and call on the City Council to vote in favor of purchasing this key parcel of open space on the Los Angeles River and preserving the entire space for public use.
