03 Jul This Weekend at the Frog Spot | Saturday 7/4 & Sunday 7/5
Red, White, & Frog
That’s not all – we’ve still got everything you love at Frog Spot from River walks to Bocce Ball and beer + wine served Saturday after 2 pm. This Sunday we’re having a special session of River Encounters to talk about how the LA River was paved in concrete.
Check out the full schedule below:
Saturday July 4th
11 am | LA River Nature Walk
Join our daily guided tour along the Los Angeles River Bike Path launching from the Frog Spot.
This is your chance to start exploring the hidden ecosystem that runs through the heart of Los Angeles and ties us all together.
5 pm | Live @ The Frog Spot
De La Vina
His first guitar was destroyed by his younger sister in a similar fashion to that of Hendrix when he destroyed his guitar at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. The destruction of the guitar came as a consequence for having destroyed his little sister’s bicycle. As the eldest of the two, he takes full responsibility for the conflict. He continues to look for the stories and melodies floating about in the city, the country and everywhere in between.

The Furious Seasons
The album begins with a burst of gorgeous, lush harmonies on “Southern Night” and promptly follows with a tornado of swirling organs. Closer to Roger McGuinn than Bob Dylan, David Steinhart’s vocals gives the band an instant energy like The Byrds reinventing a Dylan classic.
