Elisabeth Aukee

Elisabeth Aukee (she/her) is an experienced educator, LA native and volleyball coach. She has earned bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Environmental Science at San Francisco State University with a specialization in Sustainability and Social Justice and minors in Education and Special Education as well as earned a certificate in Climate Change Studies and Research from the Environmental Science Department at SF State all while playing volleyball for the school. Elisabeth has extensive professional and volunteer experience in outdoor environmental education, environmental policy and habitat restoration and hopes to bring her skills towards connecting students and the community to the LA River. In her free time she loves to read, watch movies, play with her two dogs Jimmy and Dexter, and play and coach volleyball.
