She has been working in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years, with experience working with school districts, government agencies, utilities, and municipalities on sustainability and environmental education. As a leader in equity and environmental justice, Candice has guided several organizations in their equity strategic planning. Candice lives along the Rio Hondo in a hidden eco cottage with her husband and ten year old daughter.
