01 Jun Policy at the River
Every month FoLAR participates in discussions where insightful and passionate minds are tackling tough issues like the public access to open space, wildlife habitat, public health, infrastructure and who pays for it… all in the relation to the LA River. In FoLAR tradition, we want to bring these discussions out to the public. We want to give you the opportunity listen, learn, and participate in the conversations where these issues are being deliberated. We’re creating a series of events called ‘Policy at the River’ where FoLAR brings together a panel of nonprofit, government, community, and academic experts to engage in thoughtprovoking dialogue around a central theme. Whether you are nurturing a budding curiosity for the River or sharpening your knowledge on planning politics, we think you’ll find these conversations incredibly relevant and engaging.
