5:00 PM | Martin Booe
Booe’s primary instrument is the guitar, specifically a mahogany Recording King 12-fret guitar of the style popular among itinerant blues players of the 1930s. He chose the guitar for its “unusually dark but focused tone. The wider, shorter neck offers less string tension, so it’s particularly suited to improvisation.” His finger-picking combines heavy alternating bass and free-form blues improvisations.

5:45 PM | LA River
Evoking an era when troubadours roamed the streets of Hollywood while legendary careers were being crafted in Laurel Canyon, LA River aims straight for the heart with their thought-provoking lyrics, tight musical jams, and ethereal harmonies.
6:30 PM | Campus Security
Campus Security resides in the historic LA neighborhood of Eagle Rock, gets complimented for their dashing, modern sense of fashion by college professors and freshmen alike, and they wander the streets of the city searching for a part of themselves, as well as a better Taco Truck. There’s always a better Taco Truck.
7:20 PM | LA River Swim Team
The LA River Swim Team began when Tony, Norman and John joined forces in January 2010 after sharing an affinity for punk rock, sweet melodic reggae, heavy psychedelic rock and hip-hop. The three friends began to jam almost every night, crafting their yet to be known sound and eventually adopting the moniker, LA River Swim Team.
