5:00 PM | Thoughtcrime
In a world where mass-produced music floods the airwaves, Thoughtcrime strives to write thought provoking and compelling songs reminiscent of classic punk. Their first EP (Unfair Warning) was recorded and released in winter 2013 to critical acclaim. Then they returned to the studio to record the full length debut: A Pleasure to Burn. After a nationwide tour, perpetual effort, and with a new EP in progress, Thoughtcrime shows no signs of slowing down.
6:00 PM | EZ Tiger
EZ Tiger, female power trio from Los Angeles, CA, has created a multi-layered, melodic and driving pop/rock sound led by singer/guitarist Tina DiGeorge’s unconventional songwriting and richly captivating guitar stylings. Kristy McInnis provides tight, inventive and explosive rhythms, while adding angelic backing vocals. Teresa Cowles brings depth with her solid bass lines and inventive backing vocals. The stellar musicianship of EZ Tiger pulls off pulsing rockers as well as a heart-crushing ballad with well-crafted skill and finesse.
7:00 PM | Some Gifts
Three-piece Los Angeles band Some Gifts crafts hook-y, energetic art-rock with alternative and punk influences. The band formed in 2013 when singer/guitarist Vic Lazar (formerly of Buffalo, NY bands Patrons of Sweet and Knife Crazy) began jamming with drummer Steve Aguilera, who then recruited longtime friend and fellow musician Mike Jung for bass duty.
