18 Jun Don't let LA River restoration get stuck in committee
We’re about to cross a major milestone in River Revitalization but we need your help to do it. On June 20th the Arts, Parks, and River Committee of LA City Council will decide whether or not the full Council gets to vote on the Environmental Impact Report for Alternative 20 – a plan to shatter concrete and restore 11 miles of Los Angeles River Habitat.
We can’t let this precious opportunity get stuck in committee. We need you to make your voice heard on this issue so the full City Council can vote to approve the Report and the restoration can begin!

The Environmental Impact Report confirms what we already know – Alternative 20 is an incredible vehicle for environmental restoration. Habitat will be created for wildlife and dozens of acres in post-industrial sites like the G2 Parcel in Taylor Yard will be cleaned up and transformed into healthy green spaces for Angelenos and their families. Please Stand with Friends of the Los Angeles River and tell the Los Angeles City Council to approve the ARBOR Study Environmental Impact Report so the restoration of 11 miles of Los Angeles River can finally begin.
