Cecilia Su’a

Cecilia Su’a

Originally from Compton, Cecilia Su’a (she/her) spent years in Bakersfield before returning to Los Angeles, where diversity is better embraced and the Samoan community is more prevalent. On her return, she completed two BAs at UCLA while being actively involved in student organizations and volunteer programs. It was within the institution that she was exposed to abundant resources available to students and activists, which pushed her towards opportunities that help create a better future, inspired by the late and great Whitney Houston’s “Greatest Love of All”. Su’a’s involvement with FoLAR comes from being passionate about the environment and understanding the impact climate change is already having on her community in Samoa and all of the South Pacific.
