April 18 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
As part of our Earth Month celebration, community partners will join us with exhibits and information booths, and our very own FoLAR educators will be on hand to guide folks through educational activities that bring the River to life.
With support from the California Native Plant Society, volunteers will roll up their sleeves to remove invasive mustard and learn how it impacts the ecosystem and why clearing it is key to restoring native habitat.
San Fernando Valley Audubon Society will also lead walks around the Nature Reserve, with binoculars provided so you can slow down and spot some of the incredible wildlife.
