Did you know there are BATS along the LA River?!
Join Friends of the LA River, the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, bat ecologists, and Frogtown Brewery as we search for bats that call the LA River their home.
Our guides will begin this program by leading the group on a walk along the River and utilizing bat detectors in hopes of unveiling the mysterious lives of the LA River bats.
After our walk, we’ll return to Frogtown Brewery to discuss our findings, hear a little more about bat ecology, and enjoy some tasty beers!
