One City One Story

FoLAR’s River Rover will be set up at Pasadena Library for their One City One Story program July 6. One City One Story brings a community together to discuss one book. The 2019 One City One Story Summer Edition selection is The Ballad of Huck and Miguel by Tim DeRoche, illustrated by Daniel Gonzalez. This modern version of Mark Twain’s classic explores contemporary themes of immigration, race and religion in Los Angeles, bringing in the Los Angeles River as a setting and focal point.
