Tune in for our Noche del Río Gala on October 23rd!

This evening soiree will celebrate the distinguished relationship between art and the LA River, in honor of our beloved late poet-founder, Lewis MacAdams. The evening will feature conversations with local artists, legacy tributes to Lewis MacAdams by elected officials and cultural icons, and highlight the important work that FoLAR is doing to continue to build upon Lewis’s legacy. We are thrilled to honor Lauren Bon and Metabolic Studio and the exciting work that they are doing along the River. 

This is a virtual event which will be broadcast online for attendees to enjoy from the safety of their homes. All attendees will receive a virtual swag bag, complete with River-themed giveaways and discounts to local businesses, and premium ticket holders will be delivered a FoLAR Kit with local snacks and beverages and FoLAR swag to enjoy on the evening of the event. Funds raised from our virtual gala will ensure FoLAR can continue delivering quality, online programs to keep people – near and far – connected to the Los Angeles River and all it has to offer during these challenging times.
