Nature Walk

Join us for a walk along the shared bike path at one of the natural bottom areas of the Los Angeles River. Our leader, Kevin, will share his knowledge of the LA River’s habitat and history. We will see birds and plants specific to the river, talk about how this became a “soft bottom” area, and answer any questions you have about the LA River. Enjoy your river with your community!

This will be an outside event, please bring:

• Sturdy walking shoes (we will be walking on pavement for the majority of the walk)
• Water bottle
• Proper sun protection
• Binoculars (we will have some to loan for the event)

Parking for the event will be anywhere near the end of Gilroy street as we will be meeting at the cul de sac on Gilroy st. The address on the event takes you to a building near the cul de sac on Gilroy st.
