Join LA Sanitation & Environment, Recreation and Parks, Friends of LA River, San Fernando Audubon Society, and the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Areas Steering Committee for a two-day restoration event at the Sepulveda Basin.

DAY ONE Saturday, January 21 (9am to 12pm): Dedicated to weeding invasive mustard and then preparing the site for planting native plants the following weekend.

DAY TWO Saturday, January 28 (8am to 12pm): Focused on planting and watering.

Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. We also recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, water, and a snack. If possible, please bring your own gardening gloves and weeding tools.

For safety purposes, we have restricted participation to age 13 years or older.
