Dia de los Muertos Procession

FoLAR will join Mujeres de la Tierra for a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) procession.
The Procession will start at the Cypress Park Branch Library and end at the Los Angeles River Center & Gardens.
Participants are recommended to park at the LA River Center, a FREE shuttle will be provided from the Los Angeles River Center and Gardens (570 W Ave 26) to the Cypress Park Branch Library (1150 Cypress Ave). The procession will start at 6 p.m. sharp and the route is 8/10ths of a mile in length. Remember to wear comfy shoes and to bring a flashlight. To respect the Día de los Muertos tradition, NO Halloween costumes are allowed.
At the end of the procession, there will be music and free refreshments for everyone. There will also be resource tables that will give you the opportunity to meet local organizations doing incredible work in our neighborhood.
Lastly, there will be an unveiling of the grand altar/art installations.
