Bats & Brews

Join Friends of the LA River, the Natural History Museum, and local artist Margaret Gallagher as we learn about (and hopefully detect!) the bats that call the LA River home. The event will start and end at Frogtown Brewery, so you’ll have a chance to enjoy a beer if you like, and will include a short walk to the River at sunset to do some bat detecting. We’re also excited to be releasing our first-ever Los Angeles River Bat Guide and you’ll have the opportunity to hear from the artist directly. Learn more and reserve your spot here!
