FoLAR is joining Fridays For the Future to participate in their #ClimateStrike at noon on September 27, 2019. We stand in solidarity with the brave students who have pushed for climate change to be addressed by international government organizations and challenged our leaders to embrace the opportunity at hand. Join FoLAR – in your FoLAR shirt! – as we stand together, young and old, at Pershing Square to demand for concerted efforts to be realized internationally and right here at home.
From Fridays For the Future: We’ve endured another summer of record-breaking heatwaves, floods, and refinery explosions. Enough is enough. No more government inaction and half-measures. It’s time to build a renewable energy economy that works for everyone. Join us in the streets September 27 to demand climate justice for all.
