Global #ClimateStrike – Pershing Square

FoLAR is joining Fridays For the Future and our partners at NRDC to participate in their #ClimateStrike at 11:40am on September 20, 2019. We stand in solidarity with the brave students who have pushed for climate change to be addressed by international government organizations and challenged our leaders to embrace the opportunity at hand. Join FoLAR – in your FoLAR shirt! – as we stand together, young and old, at Pershing Square to demand for concerted efforts to be realized internationally and right here at home.
WHERE: LA Central Library (630 W 5th St, Los Angeles, CA 90071) in front of the Metro bike stop on 5th Street.
WHEN: 11:40 AM meet up with NRDC at above location and proceed to Pershing Square together, strike begins at noon
From Fridays For the Future: We’ve endured another summer of record-breaking heatwaves, floods, and refinery explosions. Enough is enough. No more government inaction and half-measures. It’s time to build a renewable energy economy that works for everyone. Join us in the streets September 20 to demand climate justice for all.
